Speaking honestly about minds that work differently

I recently had the pleasure of appearing on a podcast to talk openly about neurodiversity, wellbeing, burnout, and what it really takes to create environments where people can thrive — not just survive.

In this conversation, we explored the intersection of lived experience and organisational culture: how neurodivergent individuals and those living with complex health conditions often navigate systems that weren’t designed with them in mind, and why awareness alone is no longer enough.

We spoke about:

  • the hidden cost of burnout in workplaces and society
  • why psychological safety is foundational, not optional
  • how lived experience can inform better leadership and decision-making
  • and what meaningful inclusion actually looks like in practice

These conversations matter. They create space for honesty, reflection, and — importantly — change.

I’m grateful for platforms that allow nuanced, human discussions about wellbeing, neurodiversity, and resilience, and for the opportunity to contribute to conversations that move beyond buzzwords into real-world impact.

If this episode resonates with you or your organisation, and you’d like to explore these themes further through speaking, workshops or consultancy, I’d love to connect.
